| John Grant is a writer/photographer from the Philadelphia area. In 1966, at the age of 19, he served as a radio direction finder with the Army’s Fourth Division in Vietnam. John has been to Iraq twice in the last six months, once with Global Exchange and once as a cameraman for a documentary film project. As president of the Philadelphia Chapter of Veterans for Peace, John will speak about what he saw in Iraq and the impact of U.S. occupation. | Philip Reiss enlisted in the Air Force in 1955 and served as a munitions loading specialist. As such, he helped load weapons of mass destruction on B-47s and B-52s of the Strategic Air Command. A retired SUNY history professor, Phil lives in Henryville, PA. He will speak about Veterans for Peace and his reasons for joining. |
